Walkersville Historical Gallery Walk

​The Walkersville Historical Society and Walkersville Library Youth Group joined to present the history of Walkersville, History came alive with artifacts, information boards, and video documentary. Volunteers  worked for one year, to produce an oral history documentary, with footage collected from interviews with community elders. Research was completed to learn histories of selected structures, past community members, and growth of Walkersville. Town folks graciously loaned historical artifacts that told their own story. The Walkersville Southern Railroad Museum and the Monocacy Archaeological Society displayed information and artifacts that related to town history. Walkersville Methodist Church graciously provided space, for the event.
